Happy Living explores the world through its cultures and seasons. We are drawn to the everyday things that make a place feel like itself: bread coming out of a bakery before the street wakes up, a family recipe saved for a celebration, the first evening warm enough to eat outside. Our films and stories begin with a little curiosity and the time to follow it.

Where you go is only half the story. Transylvania in October, with mist gathering around the hills and autumn settling into its old towns, feels different from Transylvania in July. Norway changes between the darkness of winter and the summer midnight sun. Even a local market tells a new story when spring flowers give way to December snow, wool gloves, and something hot to hold.

We want to understand those changes through the people who live with them. What goes on the table when the days grow short? Which celebration brings everyone home? How does a familiar street feel when the light lasts late into the evening? There is room for useful travel advice here, but the curiosity comes first. A hotel list can tell you where to sleep; a conversation can change the way you see the place when you wake up.

Our YouTube channel and blog are two parts of the same journey. The films bring you the sound of a market, the pace of a town, and the feeling of being there. The journal makes space for the stories behind what you saw: the cultural context, the best time to visit, what to pack, and practical details that help you plan your own version of the trip.

Our publishing follows the year as it unfolds. In autumn, we look for places that feel most alive in October, from harvest tables to the traditions around Halloween and Thanksgiving. At Christmas, we turn toward European markets and candlelit towns. After the holidays, we stay curious about the quiet winter months. Spring and summer draw us toward open roads, outdoor gatherings, and long golden evenings that nobody wants to end.
